Stefania is an emerging new artist with a vibrant talent that draws on Mediterranean influences.

Originally from Malta, she began painting in the latter part of the nineties. Having experimented with other art forms including pottery, Stefania settled on painting - mainly with oils and watercolours.

She has studied art since 2003 and obtained a City & Guilds Certificate in Design and Craft from Barnet College. She is currently studying privately with the London artist Christine Watson.

Stefania’s passion for her medium shines through in her work, which is hugely inspired by Mediterranean themes. Landscapes, sea and market scenes all feature, along with portraits of those who live there and still life paintings of symbolic elements of the Mediterranean lifestyle.

Her early commissions have been by close friends and family and Stefania’s attachment to her work is such that she still finds it difficult to part with them.

Her reputation is growing and she is now exhibiting locally and internationally.

Stefania lives and paints in Barnet in Hertfordshire, England.
